I don't know what to tell you here. Children don't get a free pass just because they are children. There's a time and place for certain behaviors, and children shouldn't be running wild in an enclosed space where others or the children could be injured. 🤷‍♀️

There's many things to do to occupy time. That was just one example. Sometimes you just are in a space where you can't run around. Children need to learn how to regulate themselves in different ways depending on the space they are in.

Again, I'm very sorry that you've had these experiences. They should not have happened. At the same time, there is not a binary where the only options are to abuse children or let them have free reign to do whatever they want.

Parent them? Teach them how to behave in different spaces? My parents didn't hit me and also didn't let me run wild in enclosed modes of transit. They gave me something else to occupy my time & taught me to have spacial awareness. They would simply say, 1/2
