Yes I had lay P.I.S which were useful for many of the participants, even those who had English as their mother tongue. The problem comes with the consent form which is so formally worded and inaccessible. With words like legal rights, regulatory authorities.

Another excellent Imperial Stroke Public involvement group today. We discussed research topics the group felt were important. Also interesting discussions around the Stroke Association PREM question - Did you receive support coming to terms with the effects of your stroke?
