“Evidence does not clearly show that the modest benefit conferred by incorporating race and ethnicity to decrease infrequent false-positive screens in Black patients outweighs the known harms of practicing race-based medicine and the potential harm of decreasing ONTD sensitivity in Black patients.”

Thanks for posting this. Excellent paper and so clearly written. It articulates so many ideas I've wondered about but can't articulate myself. Requires a cup of tea and some quiet time!
