Took a few days break, and my mind is able to proceed again. It is amazing what a little fresh air, spending some friend time and a change of scenery will do for one's mental health. I'm back home now 😎 chilling with Steve, my son's blind rescue cat.

Sometimes I envy cats.
My children have trouble making it to school on time. Sunday morning, they are up at 5:30. To leave by 6. To get two more teens and drive an hour away from home. I got this photo at 8:30. Priorities understood.

There is something wonderful about working through the night. The peacefulness. It is also so darn tiring. My body is always telling me it hates the sleep schedule necessary to keep a roof over my boys. Tonight is one such night where I live (sleep) vicariously through purr baby sleeping by me.

What are you most passionate about at this moment? 🤔 There are so many news items to try and keep up with. This is my reminder not to shy away from what calls to me to protect, defend, and be brave enough to speak and not let injustice slide.

It was nice to take a break. And with all my children :) 😀 I had momentarily forgotten rule 27: Never knowingly be serious.
