Tried to explain to a 11-year old today why people elect leaders who don't care about their people. Because these people don't think it applies to them. Isn't true. Either a leader cares about all of their people or none?

Just watched the movie War dogs and cannot help but wonder how many people work against their own values each day. Because the money. But maybe, just maybe, money is not all that it's cracked up to be.

For the history books. The people across borders were just living their lives. But there were some men far away who had everything they could possibly need that wanted more. Always more. So they made the neighbours fight each other. To lose the little they had. Perhaps someday, the people say no. 🕊

I will never not be baffled by cryptocurrency. People buy virtual tokens that have no intrinsic value, hoping they will become more valuable over time. Which can only happen if other people are willing to buy them at a higher price. Basically, I have this air, will you buy it?

…just utterly exposes how profoundly tribalistic, barbaric and emotionally underdeveloped the Israeli government is.

I sometimes wonder how people decide to be on the wrong side of history. They must know right from wrong. The rule is simple: treat others like you would like to be treated. How can they choose the wrong side? 🤔

Now it happened. Trump came into my dreams. I was having a deep chat with him. He looked small, tired and lost. I said, I understand, you need adoration because you have never felt real love. And you need hate, because you don't love yourself, and hate is more real and familiar. What an odd dream.

I'm so tired of every effing headline nowadays having to spin things as humiliation or blow or whatever to Trump. Why not just leave him out of it. Don't even mention him. Not everything is about him. And this is spinning things, not neutral reporting. Do better.

Why do Danes happily pay the highest taxes in the world? The highest rate is around 53% for highest salaries. Outrageous you might think, but this doesn't make them poor. They still earn a lot, have big houses and buy whatever they want. If you have made it to this bracket, you are well off.

In high school, I had a friend who was a bully. She bullied mainly the younger kids, but also sometimes her friends. That is, she'd make them do things they didn't really want to do. I still remember the moment she tried to wield her power over me. She got violent. I fought and won. I knew I had to.

"We don't talk about Bruno" doesn't make Bruno disappear. I had an online convo with an anti-woke and anti-DEI person who claimed woke is bad and divisive. He agreed that racial discrimination shouldn't exist. He couldn't say how we make sure it doesn't occur if we ban words referring to it. 🤔

When I've been reading too many bad news and I feel the dark clouds gathering, I remind myself that of all the hundreds of people I've personally met in my life, I can only pinpoint four nasty and truly cruel individuals. Most people are good, decent, and empathetic. 🌿

Overheard a conversation between my 6-year old son and his friend:
- Australia is the biggest country in the world, he says.
- Where did you learn that? asks the girl.
If 6 year old can fact check... 😄

Just thinking out loud.. but say, now that women's voter rights hang together with their maiden name, maybe democratic women should stop taking their husband's last name when getting married. Problem solved?

Just saw Fox news segment "McEnany reacts to latest Tesla incidents". The main message being that Democrats have not denounced these acts enough. If this is true, I wonder why. The same rules should apply to all, regardless of political stance. Damaging peoples' property is not ok. Do you agree?

- What do you mean specifically? Do you mean the quality of what makes humans humans (such as empathy) or humans as a species?
- if you believe this is true, why are you bringing so many children into this world?
