since it seems like most of the repro workers left twitter, i'd been trying to find responses to this.

honestly it feels like mainstream repro is as dead as israel.

between hayes and the rally-for-genocide-supporters-but-democrats over the weekend, it is just disappointment after mind-numbing disappointment

yeah, when the dystopian show is just the news it's not great anymore.

what'd be great would be full-on socialist propaganda. reality shows about how to plan a coup. historical dramas about the feuds between trotsky and lenin. schoolhouse rock about the differences between unions and tactics.

oven ready lasagna noodles are a great thing. i've been making lazy veggie lasagna since martha stewart had a fussier one in everyday food in 2003. i always hated burning my fingers when trying to lay the boiled noodles in the pan when i was a kid helping my mom.

i don't know if the media has a general sense of shame anymore. definitely not for their own actions; that evaporated decades ago. but for others' actions, especially the right's? i really don't think so.

without a sense of shame, the media would've just glossed over abu ghraib too. they had no problem cosplaying as war journalists, breathlessly rhapsodizing their soliloquies over bush's shock and awe.
March 29, 2025 at 6:52 AM
exactly. people acting as if the coup didn't already happen.
