The Azazello Collection - from the hippie counter culturalist in the Soviet Union - documents drop out culture behind the Iron Curtain. Azazello's images and sketchings are amazing.

Really great podcast featuring Birkbeck media scholar Rob Topinka on how we might be inadvertently platforming far-right talking points even when we think we are doing the work of opposition.

What I loved most about working with folks in extremism prevention and anti-hate initiatives on the ground was they weren't *at all* interested in calling anyone out.

Instead, it was like "what are we going to do to make life liveable for at risk people?" and "lets find ways to do this together."

Thrilled with the evening event. @milleridriss.bsky.social was brilliant, we had 200+
folks, and there were tons of good, difficult questions about misogyny and hate and the far right extremist pipeline.

Can we all just admire the pigeon art drawing on the side of Ottawa's Urban Art Collective space in Hintonburg? Swoon.

After 5 lockdowns in Melbourne, Andrew Ravenko decided to chronicle his daughter's fascination with space. He made a paper maché helmet and took photos within their 5km mandated travel limit. Here are some of the images from what came to be known as The Rocketgirl Chronicles.

Honoured to have been elected by my peers a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.

(A wee bit embarrassed at what the research office wrote about me in the nomination - but nice to know this is what they think!)

Wistful, captivating. There is something indelibly human about the postwar worlds photographers made in the shadow of catastrophe.

The cuts to Berlin's queer institutions are deepening, first Schwuz and now the iconic Sonntags-Club, founded during GDR times. The impact is huge.
