I'm currently reading Rebecca Zanetti's Anna Albertino series, so I have 2 of these. I have an egalley of Dom-Com by Adriana Anders. I need more . . . but I also need to finish The Librarians by Sherry Thomas as well. I'm still looking for others but I also think some library holds may come in soon

Ooh. this is good to know. I really don't want to give up on it. Maybe I will just keep reading in short chunks for now.

YES!! I think this is it exactly. I'm feeling bloodthirsty and these books help with that. As does my boxing classes.

LMAO! It is so odd. I am not sure I enjoy it per se, but I can't look away. And often I'm like "DIE SUCKER DIE!"

Yeah . . . it is weird. And they often tend to have a rom-com type feel - for example in Scythe and Sparrow the MC Rose throws up around anything gory. And she throws up quite a bit. I'm not sure how I feel about it . . . but can't look away either.

Yes. The MCs are serial killer types. Generally, they are only killing really bad guys. I am fascinated.

Brynne Weaver's The Ruinous Love trilogy is one such example

I admit that I find this serial killer romance trend to be fascinating. I am having so many thoughts about the concept of justice in romance bc I think that this plays a large part in this serial killer trend as it is normally serial killers killing serial killers or other bad dudes. #Romancelandia
