Just realized my entire personality was shaped by TNG.
✨ My spirituality? Gene Roddenberry-core.
✨ My bisexuality? Troi *and* Riker.
If I’m any good at storytelling, it’s because of TNG. If you need me, I’ll be in my feelings about Q. You?

A delightful queer story with bisexual and trans rep. I applaud her for portraying gay panic perfectly. There was a lot of realism in this story, which I appreciated. It was a pretty simple & nice narrative

She doesn’t know him. He never forgot her.

Happy Mother’s Day to everyone except Holland’s mom and Ivy’s mom.
Apparently I write villain origin stories disguised as parental figures. (My own mom is a gem, don’t come for her. We’re good.💖)
To the readers who’ve ever had to heal from the people who raised them:
I see you. My books are for you.

The Pink Moon peaks right about now. She rises in Libra, all balance and beauty and get-your-life-together energy. And just to keep things interesting, Venus goes direct at the exact same time—meaning the fog around love, money, and self-worth might be lifting.
QOTD: How are you honoring this moon?

I’m pretty sure animated Moses from "The Prince of Egypt" walked so every brooding, reluctant, secretly-soft Jewish book boyfriend could run. In the absence of such, I've got three recs on my blog. 🌶️ 📚
💙 📚 Chag sameach, my hearts.

QOTD: What are your favorite Jewish romance recs?

This month's reading wrap-up is full of recommendations from my dear friend Emma who turned me on to Megan Bannen, The River Has Roots (gorgeous on audio, I highly recommend!), and Good Soil I’m reading now. If you find yourself in Norman, Oklahoma, please stop by Barnes & Noble and say hi!

I had the absolute joy of interviewing Tamaya Cruz, the brilliant mind behind For a God to Rest—a lyrical, cartel-shadowed love story set in small-town Mexico. 💙📚 We talked writing routines, fate, friendship, and finding magic in thrift stores. Read the full interview on the blog—link in bio! 🌶️ 📚

Can’t talk… I’m writing. ✍️💕
It’s Spring Break, and I’ve got characters yelling in my head and plot twists that won’t write themselves. If I don’t use this time to dive into the draft, future me will be very annoyed. So if I go quiet on here for a few days, just know I’m elbows-deep in story magic.

From March 21-31, readers, allies, and advocates will be uplifting trans+ stories as part of the Trans Rights Readathon, ending on Trans Day of Visibility.💙 Looking for a rec? My contemporary romance novel When Ivy Met Adam features a trans character I think you’ll fall in love with. 💕

The Spring Equinox is all about balance, renewal, and fresh beginnings—kind of like that perfect romance arc where the MC finally steps into their power and lets love bloom. What books feel like sunshine after a long winter?

💖 Main Character Energy: Activated 💖 What if your next great love story is… YOU?
We root for the heroines who rise from heartbreak, chase their dreams, and find unexpected love along the way—but do we give ourselves that same grace? Plot twist: You’re allowed to be a work in progress.

Come for the misty cliffs, stay for the broodily hot Irish folks. This St. Paddy's Day, I’m diving into steamy romance novels set in Ireland—because let’s be real, nothing says luck of the Irish like a grumpy local falling hard for an unsuspecting outsider. Check out my recs on my blog!

Chag Purim Sameach! We’re celebrating one of the fiercest women in biblical history—Esther, the queen who didn’t just sit pretty in a palace but risked it all to save her people. So grab your hamantaschen, pour some wine, and raise a glass to Esther. QOTD: Who’s your favorite Bible badass?

Blood Moon in Virgo = LET. IT. GO.
Eclipses are cosmic resets—they clear out what’s no longer aligned and push us toward what’s next. In Virgo, this one is calling for clarity, healing, and release. What are you finally ready to let go of? What small ritual can help you reset?

I’ve met some of my favorite people on Bookstagram… but if I don’t search for them, I don’t see them. And if I’m not seeing them, they’re probably not seeing me, either. Right? So, I’m making a shift. Less IG. More here. More email. More real conversations. So, what's on your bookish mind?

I’ve spent my life searching, questioning, reading, and rewriting my own narrative. Too queer for church? Too spiritual for the LGBTQ+ community? Same. I see you. Now, I’m building a space where we don’t have to fit into anyone else’s boxes—where books, faith, and queerness intersect.

I resist.
I resist by writing stories that heal the hearts of those seeking God and those who have found a spiritual home in the most unexpected places.
by giving my characters the love they deserve,
whether it’s soft or messy, queer or straight, monogamous or polyamorous.

With so much social media becoming unusable or unethical, I’ve decided to market my book the old fashioned way, which is mumbling something and looking embarrassed if anyone asks if I’m a writer.
