Young men need Christ and the community of true Christians united in God's truth and love; not pride, racism, victimhood, and anger wrapped crudely in the cross.

We must communicate that CN is not true Christianity. It is not Gospel living. It is a false religion cloaked in spiritual language and symbolism yet devoid of the Spirit. And we most certainly should not rejoice at its rise in popularity...

And now, we have an increase in young men seeking and finding meaning not in Christ but in what is inaptly called Christian Nationalism, which isn't Christian at all. It is, in fact, anti-Christ. There is a fervent need for true Christians to decry this unequal yoke...

Because of that, for a number of years, there has been a willingness to rub elbows with groups that are not sound in the faith but share a common political or ideological cause, and that has allowed far-right nationalist groups to gain legitimacy...

Too many Christians are naive, accepting proclamations of faith based on simple language or symbolic expressions without testing the spiritual fruit of those who make these claims. Too many see simple church attendance or religious affiliation as cause to celebrate...

If, however, their search leads them to an ideology that cloaks itself in the trappings of Christianity without the core of commitment to Christ, that is not a cause to rejoice. It is, in fact, a cause for grave concern that they are finding fulfillment in a false faith...

If young men are seeking meaning, and that search leads them to Christ, then true Christians rejoice, as we know that He is the source of true life. And we pray those young men will grow in their faith and bless the world around them because of it...

In essence, true Christianity is a core belief spreading outward. Ideology, however, is a chosen belief system that works inwards, starting from what you want to believe and working backwards to create a core belief system from those desires...

But this would be a fatal mistake. Christianity is not an ideology, it's a humble faith in Christ that leads us, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to live in accordance with the virtues espoused in scripture and exemplified by Christ when He walked the earth....
