My team all have clear objectives, we have weekly 1-1s and formal half year reviews where we look at progress. I've had team members based in our York and Birmingham offices and I've previously managed someone based in Belfast. If you manage it's literally your job to know what work is going on.

ahhaaha don't worry, some of the time I don't want to be sat with two kids and they're mine. My two argue over who gets to sit next to me...although actually the 2+2 scenario can help this as then I can say "Right you two sit together then and I'LL sit by myself"
