Changing seasons remind us that we are in a relationship with more than just people. We are in a dynamic relationship with nature, with time, and something more. Rituals at seasonal turns help us grasp the mystery of life and honour and understand patterns and powers that are larger than ourselves.

In fairytales, the movement toward wholeness, often symbolized by a quest for a prince, princess, or treasure, is constellated by a lack in the kingdom. Likewise in any society, the collective unconscious constellates new archetypes to compensate for what’s missing in consciousness.

Spent a great day at The Warburg Institute Symposium to wrap up the recent Tarot: Origins and Afterlives exhibition. A brilliant lineup of speakers, fascinating topics, and lots of ideas to to reflect on. It was also a rare opportunity to see the original artwork for the cards up close. ✨
