True: My town is mired in unseemly machinations in which the GOP allegedly got an 83yo w/limited English on the ballot on a third-party line, w/out her knowledge, as a town supervisor candidate (votes for her threw the election to the GOP)

Wow. Maria Delgado, 83, didn't know she was on the ballot and hadn't switched parties on her own (her daughter explains in the article). And yet our reelected supervisor, who everyone suspects was at least peripherally involved or aware, is shrugging and saying, "Too bad, too sad."

This quote from an anonymous "political insider" also seems to be some BS, since there are people in the town who say this has going on for years, not since some alleged incident in June (and fwiw, if the Dems did this as well, that's doesn't seem to be cool, either)
