How can a city be “war ravaged” when there is no war?

And he can say antifa is a terrorist group as much as he wants to but that doesn’t make it so.

I mean, imagine saying being anti-fascism is a bad thing?

This is what she looked like when I was first gifted her

I digress…
If anyone happens to be an orchid expert, hit me up with tips. It’s growing lots of new roots and leaves - just no flower stem. (And when I was gifted it, the leaves were positioned like this - but now that they have grown, it looks, well, not right.)

So - THEY are sexualizing fictitious little girls? I think THEY are the problem.

I was hiking with my husband and son this weekend, and we saw this little fella.

(First time I’ve seen one that wasn’t on the side of the road, um, not moving.)

I think we all need a timeline cleanse. This is my rescue Mars. She’s not really sweet natured, definitely not cuddly, and she will steal your shoes the moment you turn your head…but she’s trying to be a good girl. And she’s REALLY like a bite of whatever you’re snacking on right now

Same - and yikes!

Oh this gives me the ick. I will not use AI. #writer

WTF, @ticketmaster.com

These seats did NOT say limited view when I bought them day of on sale. It’s a crime to charge this much for these seats at Globe Life Park.

A friend crocheted us all “f b*mbs” during his last term for just this reason.

Highly cathartic. Would recommend.

Happens every time - when I was out running errands, I saw a notification from the library that a book on hold is now available, but when I get there multiple are available.

I still have two unread from the last trip when I went in to pick up one and left with four.

What are you #reading today?

For #tennessee friends especially

He liked this tweet so much that he reposted it again. I’m sharing it with you here so that you don’t have to go scrub your algorithm looking for it.

Never mind that his math ain’t mathin’ (unless he is gonna clarify the 90% of what people)

So, are you a member of the Parasite class?

Flashback photo to one of my favorite views from the walk from the house we were renting into town in Hay on Wye. I must have taken a photo from this spot 20 times in all weather while we were there.

When you send your sick college student a care package in a Chewy box and have to put a doodle on it so the apartment complex doesn’t think he has a secret pet! 😂😂😂

Make it make sense. Haven’t been to Einstein Bagels in ages - two bagels with shmears came to $9.46!! Yet they have a baker’s dozen with two TUBS of cream cheese for $19

I feel sick to my stomach and need a break from executive orders so here’s an adorable picture of my asshole rescue who’s been particularly aggressive and scary lately in her new bed that’s supposed to be soothing.

She’s cute..from a distance. She is anxious and distrustful and a bit more bitey than anticipated but we are patient with her. It’s a good thing she’s cute because we can’t cuddle with her. Or pet her.

She’s basically a cat.

What a sweet face!!!

Here, on the other hand, I often have to run across the back yard with hopes that my goober rescue will follow me onto the grass. And heaven forbid it’s wet.

She was not descended from wolves. She is a bitey cream puff.

We had a bit of a cheater’s “Sunday roast” on a Tuesday, complete with Yorkshire puddings (which I haven’t made from in ages). I have a love/hate relationship with Jamie Oliver’s recipes. The kitchen is always a wreck despite prep and dishes take forever, but it was so good my picky eater approved!

I have a Mars too! She is almost 8 and NOT sweet and cuddly.

Got into the waiting room when it opened up. Tickets for ALL the MCR concerts went on sale at 10 CT.

Does anyone know if the queue accounts for all shows, or just the one I want?

(It’s been a while since I’ve bought tickets for a show this size myself. Usually can con the 20yo to do it for me 😂)

Tell me something good that happened today. I have to make my brain look for moments of peace to keep the depression at bay.

Me? It’s November (!) & I sat in my screened-in porch with my evil-genius rescue Mars and enjoyed some sunshine.

(She looks regal, but really, she just wanted my toast)

Lovely sunny day after a rainy night. Trying to appreciate the quiet moments as best I can.
November 11, 2024 at 4:12 PM
Yup. Took no time at all for these bros to crawl out of mom’s basement.
