It's 42°F and raining in South Central Alaska....in January. Our typical weather this time of year is -10° to 15°F. I've lived here for 30 years, and in the last 10, the winters have become noticeably milder. #climatechange is real.

Still a toasty winter here in south central Alaska. 39°F today. No snow coverage could mean an interesting year for the foliage that relies on the snow cover as insulation when the below freezing temps hit. We've had 8 to 12 inches so far. We are normally at ~ 70 inches of snow and 10° in Dec.
