Peanut is not a fan of Freddy or Timmy. But Freddy (seen in the distant window) really wants to get to know Peanut. Unfortunately for now, they have to enjoy the bird feeder from opposite rooms.

This book is a couple years old, but I'm just getting around to reading it. She talks about the use of language that is so applicable to the environment we are in today. Definitely worth the read.

While this is somewhat escapism (my main goal for reading), Adrian Tchaikovsky's writing always has amazing insight into the social and power dynamics of societies.

My big guy was toothless when we adopted him (not that they informed us, we noticed it a few weeks later), but he lived a super happy life. All the better because he got only the best canned food! Also, we named him Dragon before we knew, which made it all the cuter once we found out.
