Ran for local office as a Democrat in a very red county. Shockingly, I lost.
I always say we can be proactive and pay for it in the front end by investing in clean energy and other climate mitigating strategies out we can pay for it on the back end like we are in Texas.

It would be nice if Ohio's majority party would recommend proactive measures like this.
In the last year Minnesota farmers have had to weather extreme flooding, drought, new tariffs, and the spread of avian flu.
