I have been hiding in the Caribbean. After a frustrating 24-hr-long game of “will there be a flight or not?” on Sunday followed by jet lag and unpacking, I’m back, but it snowed immediately, so I’m still readjusting to this and other realities here. 💕❄️✈️🌴

I’ve literally dreamed of meeting her since I was 5 years old. As in I fall asleep and dream it. I still have those dreams now and then. Recently I was at a party with many others there, like Bea Arthur and Betty White, who, coincidentally, I also dreamed I met back in 6th grade. 💕🕊️

Someone explain to me why, when I order a Coke or Pepsi & that’s what the server brings me, when they offer a refill it’s always, “Would you like another Diet?” I’m eating fries w/ cheese on top. Do I look like I’m dieting? It’s like ordering tea but they offer a lemonade as a refill. Not the same.

This can be hard to remember at first but it’s so true. The key, though, is that you also have to be trying. Growth requires at least some minimal effort.

I lived in Louisville that yr. For some reason we had a soccer game on & had an astonished laugh watching 1 of the teams kick the ball as hard as they could toward the goal only to have it fly backward over their head toward the opposite goal. I think the power went out soon after that. What a mess!

I’m reworking my online store. It’s actually freeing to not have to cater to the geographic crowd in a brick-&-mortar. Always before there was the store & me personally, but now my online store can better reflect my personal tastes & brand & I think that is going to help me creatively from now on. ❤️
