I don’t work at UAB anymore - but work with a lot of researchers (as a vendor). I’m very concerned about my job stability and the overall research environment. UAB is a top tier institute and this is absolutely devastating 💔

A former colleague in a lab at UAB, works on several projects related to human health (Alzheimer’s), shared she’s concerned that starting this week there might not be funding for her salary since she’s paid partially through department funds.
