Well, in honor of COP30, my class did two rounds of the World Climate Simulator. Hardball level, without the US present.
We got to 2.3 degree C by 2100. And not nearly enough contributions to climate funding (and one group saying no climate refugees in return for $$).
I so love/hate this activity.

Apparently my parents' hurricane of chaos pup hurt her back by falling off the bed last week and is on restrictive actvity for the next few weeks.

I now own a Kitchenaid stand mixer....for a grand total of $5.
My dad purchased it at a garage sale to see if he could fix it. Turned out the answer was yes.

I had to size down one size. My foot kept slipping too much in my normal size. Right now, I'm wearing them around the apartment to break them in. They're a bit stiff and rubbing a little against my ankle. I'm hoping it's just the brand new shoe effect. But they look amazing!

Because I am Clearly an Adult at 40, my parents picked up all but two boxes of 90s American Girl clothes and an Addy doll for $105 at an estate sale today.
It's been a while since I've had new stock to resell so I can buy missing pieces for my dolls. This is exciting.

Because I am Clearly an Adult at 40, my parents picked up all but two boxes of 90s American Girl clothes and an Addy doll for $105 at an estate sale today.

Because this week hasn't felt stressful enough, there was a fucking 1.5" roach that led me to discover some lovely damage to the wall behind the TV shelving unit.
Fml.
But Missy did do her best to protect me. She is now sleeping by the foot of my bed. Which she never does. I don't deserve her.

Kinda excited to get the chase version (1/6 odds), though now I don't know if I should take it out of the box.

my parents have officially had their crazy pup for two years now. she went through about 5 different homes before winding up with them, and this is the one that stuck.
