Los Angeles residents were outraged after dozens of federal agents marched through MacArthur Park, in one of the city’s most immigrant-heavy neighborhoods. Homeland Security officials said it was an immigration enforcement operation, though it was unclear if anyone had been arrested. trib.al/JYW5IsU

My German-American heritage taught me this.

There is no more radical political acts than loving your neighbor and loving your enemy.

And that is the only view of politics a Christian may have.

I was quoted in the Wall Street Journal about transfer on death deeds. They list a beneficiary, but have had issues.

Understanding your plan and strategizing with a knowledgeable professional offers protection cheap forms can't provide.

I stumbled upon a picture of the Brandenburg gate this weekend. On the East Side.

A picture of a commemoration this weekend of 80 years since the fall of the N--- horror.

This is a spot that I've had the distinct blessing to stand on and cross multiple times in my early adulthood.

RUDY CAN'T FAIL!

As foretold by The Clash.
Mike Conley was as worried as everyone else was when he initially saw Luka and LeBron team up. In the end, the Lakers were the team that was no match for Conley’s Timberwolves

Now it’s “100 men or 1 gorilla”?

Response: “Neither. 12 Timberwolves.”

The tributes to Pope Francis is thawing even this old crusty Lutheran heart.

Is there any better tribute for a Christian life than spurring the rest of us to love the marginalized?

Good legacy is something entirely other than what the world speaks of legacy.

If you need to understand me, know that only twice did I engage in "bad" behavior in high school.

I shut down a class project after a classmate threw a racial slur against Native women.

When a classmate asked if I was a Na-- because I spoke German, I slapped him.

Zero regrets.
