NC is reporting its first case of #measles this year in a child who visited Forsyth and Guilford counties. The state had one case last year. More than 1,200 cases have been reported in the US this year, the first major outbreak since 2019.

At #ncchildhungerleaders conference, @nc_governor Josh Stein on federal cuts to aid programs: "Getting kids the nutrition they need, whether they live in Raleigh or Rwanda, should be something that brings us together. It should be an easy Yes."

This is my youngest cat, Peanut, sitting in the dog's bed next to some of the dog's toys. I had to order a bin to hold all of Sherbert's toys. That puppy is so spoiled!!

Had a great birthday today. Went book shopping with a friend then enjoyed an excellent dinner at a little Italian restaurant. They even gave me a free tiramisu for my birthday!
