The United States has the highest GDP in the world by *ten trillion dollars*. It's not even close. Americans should retire at 60 w/ full pension. We should have free universal healthcare. We should have free PreK-PhD education. This belt-tightening ideology is a neurotoxin limiting our potential.

You’d think the nomination of Linda McMahon to Secretary of education would distress me, but she is way less likely than every other nominee to be an actual rapist. (I know she almost certainly helped cover dozens if not hundreds of sexual assaults, but still…)
