Since Gilbert was euthanized at a vet hospital, I hope he was conscious enough to feel the presence of those who cared for him with love. he sounds like the very bestest of boys.

It's worth noting where Gilbert came from too- Melissa helped foster service dogs in training for disabled veterans. Gilbert was their personal dog (adopted after he washed from the program) but she was continuing to assist with other SDIT.

Yessss! Spent most of Black Friday boxing up dishes we don't use and cleaning out my closet to donate to local thrift store. It felt so good to clean up and to hope this stuff just might be useful to somebody else.
