Tonight I tried to speak to the Brevard Public Schools board about their unjust firing of a beloved teacher bc she used a trans student’s chosen name. They got mad, cut my mic, then left the room for a recess. I wound up giving my remarks to the audience. My 3 mins became 8 bc of their bigotry.
