No group has a monopoly on assholes.

Is so-and-so autistic? Maybe. Maybe.

But if that same person also shows signs of being a fascist, that's a whole 'nother thing.

Autism is not a "I get to be an asshole for free" card, and any attempt deserves calling out as such.

My doctor is great, but there’s a lack of specialists here in New Brunswick. Are you a medical professional or someone with experience in EDS, MCAS, or POTS? I’d love to connect—can you offer insights, suggestions, or guidance on what I should ask next or where I can seek specialized care?

Misdiagnoses happen, especially with complex conditions. Could my history of liver and bile duct issues actually be part of the connective tissue and autonomic dysfunction seen in hEDS/POTS? I’m starting to wonder if the pieces fit together differently than I was told.

Today, I experience chronic fatigue, sciatica, neurological issues, and symptoms aligning with hEDS, MCAS, and POTS. Could these conditions explain my health better than my original diagnosis? Could they have been overlooked due to limited knowledge at the time?

In the late ’80s/early ’90s, I had major surgery at Montreal Children’s Hospital. They removed half my liver, gallbladder, and appendix due to bile duct issues and diagnosed me with Caroli’s disease. But now I’m wondering—could it have been misdiagnosed connective tissue dysfunction all along?

Diagnosed with Caroli’s disease as a child, but decades later, I’m questioning if it was the right diagnosis. Could conditions like EDS, MCAS, or POTS be the real cause?

But right now, I really need to step away and get to bed. ADHD hyperfocus + autistic special interests totally hijacked my night! 🤣
