I've been enjoying the Wings of Fire series, so have a Mooncatcher.

Also, you should check out these cool books my friends released last year:

THE GUARDIANS OF WHISPERS by B.E. Padgett.

THE HOLLOW AND THE HAUNTED by Camilla Raines.

Okay bye for real.

I'm a huge fan of xenofiction, so of course I love this series.

Despite its many flaws, it shows so much creativity and a willingness to explore new topics and characters. Sometimes that works to its own detriment, but it also makes the series quick and easy to read. I just love these owls. (2/2)

GUARDIANS OF GA'HOOLE by Kathryn Lasky.

Is this series amazing? No. Is this series good? Sometimes. Did it compose 25% of the books I read last year? Yes.

Audiobooks really helped me with my reading slump. They do a good job of smoothing over bumps. (1/2)

SHEINE LENDE by Darcie Little Badger.

Not what I expected from an Elatsoe prequel, but in my experience, Little Badger can't miss. She's definitely another favorite, and this one didn't disappoint. Harrowing in both fictional and nonfictional tragedy.

THE TAINTED CUP by Robert Jackson Bennett.

Bennett is one of my new favorite writers. I want to watch his vibrant characters explore their weird, unique worlds forever. Ana and Din are just hard to beat.

I didn't realize how much I wanted high fantasy detective stories until this book.

DUNGEON CRAWLER CARL by Matt Dinniman.

This series takes litRPG tropes I dislike and makes them work. Turns out, all it really takes is creativity and emphasizing characters overs stats.

I love Donut. She could've just been comic relief, but Dinniman takes her complex situation seriously.

MY FAVORITE BOOKS/SERIES OF 2024 because why not.

These are things I read in 2024, regardless of original release date. Not including rereads.

More details in the thread.

Bonus: token I used for way too long before actually making a full body image.

A DnD character from a campaign that recently ended. Jackal Crowcaller the cleric! I love her very much. She only bites a little bit.

Art for my latest Pathfinder character. Meet Mourning Dove, the awakened deer thaumaturge, and her familiar, Kota. I've found her to be a delight to play.
