I do have liberal friends there fighting the good fight, but they are always losing. Please give me a solution for this issue. How do we stop billionaires who control much of what people hear everywhere? Telling people to change the rhetoric on social media is frankly like spitting into the wind.

But I can’t move back because every time I visit NC, I hear people quoting Fox News, Donald Trump, and the religious right. I voted against that while I lived in NC, and beat my head against the wall arguing with the people around me, but nothing ever changed. Ever. 2/

I’m really sorry about some of the rhetoric I hear from liberal factions in social media. But it IS social media. I don’t think it speaks to the truth of most liberals any more than Southern politicians speak for most people in the South. I was born in NC, and moved to MA almost 30 years ago. 1/
