Hate to say it, since I love the feel of them (in particularly the Elite Controller), but Microsoft's controllers build-quality are just awful. Highly recommend looking at third party options (many of which are quite good, nowadays)

The demo I played about a year ago was firing on all cylinders as a send-up of tacky vaporwave, ADV games, working in the service industry, and hot plastic Y2K. everyone is mean to you. loved it!!
