Democrats are having a fantastic election night - thank goodness. Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani wins the mayoralty of a city larger than 38 states, and Democrats won governor races decisively in Virginia and New Jersey.

What a bunch of silly Ferengi right-wing Trekkies are. Star Trek is effin’ socialist, presenting a world where humans overcome commercial, mercantile mindsets (just as retrograde feudal mindsets were once overcome) and focus on self-improvement and shared human flourishing.

After spending the whole morning being an insane tornado, Nimbus is out cold.
He chased his favorite insect-on-a-string toy, which we call Bug, and has these little colored plastic springs that he’ll pursue all over the house for hours. Very exhausting!
