I'd definitely watch it! Noticed for a long time too that people dont seem to actually know what "real" looks like to most people. Light quality and color changes ALL THE THINGS. Might also explain why I've never understood so much of the anti-RT sentiment.

The Steam Frame checks all the boxes for what I've wanted in a VR headset - with the small exception of the lack of color passthru and hand tracking, but I know there may be "workarounds" - and feels like the combo of what I liked in Quest 3 + VIVE Focus 3, without all the Meta/book nonsense.

That all said, I'm still frustrated that they're launching this new gen of Steam Machines with such an anemic GPU. I understand it for cost reasons, but I do hope they try to also launch a more...Pro? MAX? Premiem? 😄 Machine as well for people who want a Valve-native high end box.

You said it yourself, Alex - people are fed up with Windows and hungry for alternatives. I can see PlayStation + SteamOS being more compelling to a lot of people than PlayStation + XBox. If it weren't for FSR4 in Win11 on my 9070 XT performing so well, I would have been in Bazzite the past 3 weeks.
