You're right. But Fareed's explanation of that is that fear and insecurity overrides logic, and pulls many people towards tradition and familiarity.

We installed a radon mitigation system in our basement this year and it noticeably improved the air quality in our whole house, more than just combating silent, smell-less radon.

Lorneville is part of the City of Saint John. It is not "the small
community of Lorneville, about 15 minutes southwest of Saint John". It is as much a part of Saint John as Uptown and Millidgeville and has been since residents there opposed amalgamation by the province in 1967.

Salinity power is legit, but this is a huge exaggeration and we already have affordable renewable solutions we're not using enough of. Salinity power won’t deliver ‘unlimited’ energy or 15% of the planet anytime soon. Promising innovation, sure, but mostly a cool tech demo now, not a revolution.

I pay attention to who I follow as well, but the presence of New brunswickers here on BlueSky is one of the main reasons why I'm still here. Most NBers who I used to follow on x have moved over here and I appreciate that.
