Incredibly, this ruling suspends him immediately from judicial office (he is the sole judge of the Geauga County, Ohio, Juvenile and Probate Court), but only for six months--meaning he will be allowed to return to the bench for up to about ten months before his mandatory (age-based) retirement.

(I think the canonical answer is that 007 is the number of his license to kill, and that it's not actually about concealing his identity at all.)

Like, why bother with the code?
November 11, 2025 at 3:29 PM
It's the other way around--007 is the code name for Bond! (There is a 006 and a 008, etc.) Which makes it so weird that he goes around saying his name all the time!

My brothers and I were 15, 13 (me), and 9. We had heard the history, but didn't really have any idea how rare a Cleveland World Series was.

My little brother would spend HOURS in the yard imitating Belle's stance.

My brothers and I all wanted to go, but we understood. I've long since forgot the details, but it was many thousands of dollars for five seats about 20 rows up along the right-field pen (not far from Belle's homer in that thread).

My grandparents sold their tickets to the game because it paid for our entire season ticket package for 96, and then some.

Would love someone to find the radio call of this!

I am as worried as anyone about Obergefell, but the link there just says that Kim Davis's petition is scheduled for the Nov. 7 conference. That's not news; that's just how the calendar works. There's no new opinion, no relisted petition--nothing. Right?

Above all - get that temps as quickly as possible, because she needs it for a full 6 months. You don't want to get to age 16 and discover that she's completely ready, only to have to wait months to be eligible.

We started with an empty parking lot and just idling back and forth across it. That was very easy, so we quickly moved to idling around park roads (Otto Armleder out this way was great for that), then upgrade to parks where you could briefly drive on the street between entrances (Woodland Mound)

My oldest learned to drive this year! She took to it like a duck to water. The lessons about fluids and sensors do not seem to have stuck.

I had all but forgot this story. I'm trying to remember the case name and client but I'm struggling.

Not the lawyer, through. I remember exactly who that was.

A paralegal! Who did not work for me!

Not even a litigation paralegal!
October 16, 2025 at 3:44 AM
This happened to me once! A lawyer asked to continue an imminent trial, I declined, and then he called the court to request a continuance and did not inform them of my objection, and then had the court staff dial up a paralegal at my firm who did not work for me to get new trial dates!

I firmly believe that LeBron could unseat Jon Husted if he wanted to.

The correct answer is that the Midwest is bounded on the north by the Great Lakes, on the east and south by the Ohio River, and on the west by hte Mississippi River. It is coextensive with the Northwest Territory of 1787

I don't make the rules; that's just historical fact
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
