I am also the PI of an EPSCoR Track 2 (FEC) grant entering its final year connecting UNH, UNE (Maine), Auburn (AL), and UWYo (Wyoming) in research and community engagement. The goal is to design a protein sensor for online process analytical technology in bioreactors.

I am an engaged mentor that cares deeply about student growth and learning. I am an active ally in many spaces including LGBTQA+, disability community, and neurodiversity spaces.

My lab, named the Surface Enhanced Electrochemical Diagnostic Sensors Laboratory (SEEDS Lab) explores new electrochemical transduction techniques to evaluate surfaces designed for diagnostic sensors. Our primary transduction is Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy without redox mediators.
