The sunken ship is among my favorite video game dungeons that I enjoyed so much, it has served as an inspiration in some of my own fiction writing.

I would love to live in the commoner's quarter of Sei'an City.

I like this cover art a lot more than the Orbit printing

I'd have several questions, myself, but pretty sure I'd shut my yap once I saw the paycheck.

If you have an argument with any merit to make you shouldn't need another person's hyperbolic video to articulate it.

No, I referenced Trump for two reasons. One was to highlight how "bullshit" Microsoft, Sony, and the rest of the industry apparently were prior to this gen under your logic.

The other was to partly explain why prices are jumping on all video game products so suddenly and so significantly.

If you had any idea what you were talking about, or at least were discussing this topic in good faith, you wouldn't have had to admit being wrong over a such an indisputable, well known fact in the first place.

"Preschooler" to a T.

I'd say preschooler logic is condemning Nintendo for 'normalizing $70 software' when their direct competitors have pushed it for half a decade (BEFORE the global economy endured a gigantic shift thanks to the current US president), and then having to admit being mistaken on that.

But that's just me
November 11, 2025 at 5:15 PM
It's entirely possible. But to act like Nintendo is the authority on price increases, or "unfair" pricing, when the last two industry-wide software price jumps were initiated by other companies, and when Nintendo is still more affordable than its competitors, is just silly.

Donkey Kong Bananza didn't get the $80 price point. If that didn't, very few Nintendo games will.

Nintendo is not the progenitor of price increases on games. No one video game company has ownership of that. You remember that they didn't introduce $70 games, yes?
November 11, 2025 at 4:38 PM
You can't be a serious human being to say that while the PlayStation 5 has existed for nearly 5 years.
November 11, 2025 at 4:32 PM
Another video game entity will release a $90+ game this generation. Mario Kart World being $80 has been completely inconsequential to software pricing thus far and was only a story to concern trolls jumping on a trendy meme.

If you read the Teraleak Nintendo is quite hands off with Pokemon software

They have a single game that’s $80.

Pokopia is not cut and dry as far as ownership of the IP goes. Not only is the game developed by a third party, Nintendo isn’t the sole publisher.

A better example is Age of Imprisonment, which was a traditional release.

Even more astounding is acting like Nintendo introduced $70 games or are failing to release their first party software on physical.

We were an Operational Rainfall away from Xenoblade likely never becoming a multi-game franchise that became beloved enough for Nintendo to make the capstone of certain Directs.

Reggie was a good dude, but he also made a lot of boneheaded decisions that fans conveniently ignore nowadays.

Same guy who also told fans to keep playing Mario Kart Wii (months after its release) when fans were voicing concerns over the Wii's software droughts.
