Amazon uses the NBC production crew, which is why the Prime games are basically indistinguishable from normal NFL games on the big networks.

Yeah and that makes sense because comparing the Amazon Prime production vs Netflix is night and day. When I’m watching in Prime it just feels like a normal network broadcast of an NFL game. Netflix feels like amateur hour.

Nice. Ok. State's 2023 season was not quite that, but still pretty stress inducing - 7 conference wins; 4 were one-possession games, we trailed in the second half of 2/3 of the other wins. Also had a one-possession loss and was also blown out by UCF and S. Alabama. Good times.

Related, I had AUS-TUL flight on Saturday; normally a straight shot north and about a 55 minute flight.

We were routed around Ft. Worth Center so our flight path looked like a big backwards "C" where we went as far east as Ark before back into TUL. Almost doubled the normal flight time.

So three of the most annoying shit bags in all of sports media (which is saying something) are against Zohran you say?

Hmmm I wonder whose side I should pick on this one... so tough to decide...

NYT about to fire up a fascinating piece on how the results of last night's election gave MAGA voters the sads and why aren't we thinking of the MAGA voters?

It still blows my mind that these guys are just absolutely leaning in to the whole Nazi aesthetic. I know I shouldn't be shocked that a bunch of fascist shit bags love the Nazis, but I just never thought we'd see them openly embrace it publicly.

Hell yes.

Weird coincidence: Oklahoma State was originally Oklahoma A&M College and our original mascot was “Tigers” because our original president was from Princeton. That’s also why our colors are orange and black.

Sir I would like to note that my beloved Oklahoma State Cowboys are technically Aggies, with our glorious 1-6 record.

Make the Pop-Tarts Bowl the national title game you coward.

This is the NFL, not college football.

Good teams lose to "bad teams" all the time. Hell look at GB/CLE the other day. 3-0 with two road wins/2 division wins is good no matter how you want to discount it.

Both the Rams and Bucs would be 0-3 with the same injuries the Niners have endured.
September 22, 2025 at 10:45 PM
Seattle boatraced the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Not many teams will do that. The Bucs? They are somehow legit for squeaking by 3 terrible teams? And again, the Niners have done what they have missing like 4-5 of their best players, including their starting QB.
September 22, 2025 at 10:44 PM
Not many teams would be 3-0 no matter who they played with the insane amount of injuries the Niners have endured.

And in the one game where they were even close to full strength, they won at Seattle, who won their next 2 games by a combined score of 75-30.

Or just deal with it like the rest of us… develop some mild functional alcoholism and buy a new car.
September 18, 2025 at 10:59 PM
There has always been that element, of course; but it just seems in the past 30-40 years that element has completely taken over, and I'm not just talking about the GOP here.
September 12, 2025 at 6:36 PM
I honestly think that, for whatever reason, we are in a period where the "best and brightest" have ZERO interest in politics, so it basically attracts an over-abundance of know-nothing, attention-seeking narcissists. 1/2

Oh please. The idea that other owners wouldn't want to make all of that money is ridiculous. And it's not as if they aren't TRYING to win. Again, they have been competitive. They are the freaking Browns. They just haven't put it together and won because - again - winning the SB is really hard.
August 21, 2025 at 2:17 PM
Yeah OK. It was his money and he hired Jimmy Johnson and drafted all of those players. Not giving him ANY credit for what the Cowboys did in the 90s is absurd.
August 21, 2025 at 2:16 PM
And I'm not a Cowboys fan - far from it. I'm a 49ers fan and we haven't won one since the 90s either, but there's not nearly the hand-wringing about the 49ers vs. the Cowboys in terms of "tHeY hAvEn't WoN a SuPeR bOwL in 30 yEaRs"
