EndeavourOS is arch with a nice installer. Lots of good DE options out of the box. Pick one you like the look of, or switch to any in the arch or aur repos after install. Personally, I like hyprland, but it needs a bit of configuration.

If you are going to read and watch, be prepared for the experiences to mess with each other. The show is fantastic, but it's a streamlined and rewoven tapestry. Those who can see it as another turning tend to enjoy it more than those trying to fit it into their existing pattern.
