I still get intrusive thoughts, but they are much less persistent/convincing
It helps to acknowledge them as what brains do but also know they lie. You can feel the lie.
So imagine them as being the dumb SpongeBob meme sPeLLiNg or sounding like Bront, and those intrusive thoughts lose power.

I really enjoyed going out and about for the first time since my op. I went carefully, with help. I am paying for that this morning with needing pain management top ups.
Town was very pretty though, I’m looking forward to enjoying Christmas this year.
