PHILIP Before anyone starts complaining about sand in their shoes. Why don’t we just get to the point? Shall we? Which was actually a surveying tool used to take soil samples and such. Panel 3: PHILIP [pointing to Heather] This young lady and her phone’s photograph gave us the creature. Panel 4: PHILIP The complaints of strange lights and smells on the beach told us where to look, and the communication problems pointed to the tower above the bluffs here. (whips out the 3D-VV) The Tenderizer casually removes the chain blocking the stairs. *TOIK!* Panel 2: Alex and Walter descend to the beach. Panel 3: ALEX: Now for that rejuvenation and fresh outlook. WALTER: It’s getting dark for swimming. Plus, we’re supposed to be watching the mayor. Panel 4: WALTER: Where did he get to anyway? Now you bring us back to the beach? Panel 2: The mayor has stapled/nailed/taped a sign up onto the Welcome to Constellation Cove beach sign that says beach closed. MAYOR: (Pointing to the sign as he chains off the stairs) There, I’ve closed the beach as of this moment. ?I’ll decide if it’s safe. But until then, the beach is off-limits. Panel 3: The mayor marches off down the stairs he just chained off. Panel 4: The gang stands in place for a beat, watching the Mayor walk away. Panel 5: PHILIP: ?
