Pandemic lockdown. There was barely anyplace we could go but it was easy to drive there. But now we want everyone to get stuck in traffic to do their zoom meetings from the office because it’s “good for the economy.”

I am inclined towards an EV when I need to replace my current vehicle. I see the EV as superior for 90% of my use because I can charge at home and don’t drive on the majority of days. The 10% case is road trips through rural areas with few fast chargers and extreme frustration seems likely.
