There are a lot of great points in that post
But it’s written from a position of privilege. That privilege isn’t uniform.
Titles matter. Titles are explicit acknowledgements of credibility. Saying “I don’t need an outside confirmation of credibility” is hard for many (underrepresented) engineers

It’s really my own fault but sharing so nobody else makes the same mistake. The Costco premixed cocktails are bad and not worth any amount of money, no matter how cheap and easy they appear to be.
