It is nice to have proper networking on a small Arm machine. Would be nice to have one be SFP cage though!

Gotta watch out for it!

Not yet, no. I was going to put my Oculink adapter in and test with some bigger cards over x4 link, but didn't get time since I ran into OS issues in my testing.

But it uses the same Cix P1 CP8180 the Orion O6 has. Did they solve the issues I found in that board?

Namely:

- High idle power consumption
- Confusing performance that's 'not great, not terrible'

See what I found in my review: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXfd...

So many tech conferences turn into a circle of huge vendors and huge vendor employees, with a lot less of the community and educational content that made them interesting in the first place.

Meanwhile prices go up to the point few people go if not sponsored by their company :(

Just cleaning - surprisingly, it seems like the tower's surface was not damaged, it was actually cleaner after than before, as these towers are normally just outside all year round and get a buildup of dust/grit.

We're wondering if using copper as the grounding medium helped?

It eats power a bit, but it's a nice solid rig.

Wish they used a standard motherboard and layout, though. Can't fit 2 slot GPUs!

Yep! It's limited but decent: www.jeffgeerling.com/blog/2025/si...
