This might be the only way out for the Trump enablers. They can't admit they were wrong about supporting Trump because they are too weak to ever admit making a mistake. But, they might be able to live with saying, "Well, how was I supposed to know that Trump would get dementia?"

People talk a lot about getting F*** You Money. I find it really interesting that for many people, the more money they get, the more of a coward they become.

It turns out you don't need money to tell people to f*** off. You can do it for free. You just need some courage.

"Understandable reasons." I am still having a hard time understanding. I didn't even understand their reasons in 2016, let alone 2024. I mean, I can guess their "reasons", but they aren't good ones.

Do not negotiate. Make it clear that he will not get what he wants. You have seen this kind of mind before. You know where appeasement leads.

I am sorry to have to tell you this, but as of right now, America is not your friend. With Trump as President, America has no friends. Your best option is to understand this, and to make it clear that you will not bend the knee. You must start drawing hard and clear lines. You must be resolute.
January 19, 2026 at 1:28 AM
Therefore, I think it is folly to try and appease him. He will take whatever you offer, and then take what he wants anyway. He will screw you over.

When an ally comes to him saying, "We are friends, we are equals. Let us plan together to further our common goals." He sees only someone who is a liar, who wants to cheat him. This is why he focuses so much energy on them. He needs to figure out how to get them to submit to his will.
January 19, 2026 at 1:28 AM
The reason is, in the mind of Trump, there are no allies. Only those who have bent the knee, and recognized his greatness, and those who have yet to do this. Those who have yet to do this are his greatest enemies.

Trump is not your friend. With Trump as President, the United States is not your friend, nor your ally. People have been wondering why Trump is so hard on the allies of the United States.

I think we know the answer. I'll give you a hint. It starts with "r" and ends with "acism".

So, objectively it would make much more sense to crack down on speeding, since the harms there are great, and the harms of illegal immigration are small (it could even be considered a net benefit). So, why the focus on immigration?
January 10, 2026 at 3:34 AM
Verdict: Speeding kills thousands of Americans every year. Undocumented immigration does not. Speeding creates a ~$46 billion hole in the economy every year. Undocumented immigration generates nearly $100 billion in tax revenue, which helps offset its fiscal costs.

However, this is not a pure loss like a car crash. These individuals provide labor (contributing to GDP) and pay taxes. In 2022, undocumented immigrants contributed an estimated $96.7 billion in federal, state, and local taxes. forumtogether.org/article/undo....

Financial burden of illegal immigration: It is true that undocumented immigrants create a fiscal burden, primarily at the state and local level (schools, emergency medical care). Estimates vary, this strain is real but localized.

If undocumented immigrants were replaced by native-born citizens, statistical models suggest the total number of crimes would likely increase due to the higher crime rates of the native-born population.
January 10, 2026 at 3:24 AM
While individual crimes committed by undocumented immigrants are of course tragic (as are all crimes), there is no statistical evidence that this demographic is responsible for 12,000+ deaths annually.

Immigration: Multiple studies (including comprehensive data from the Texas Department of Public Safety) show that undocumented immigrants have substantially lower homicide and violent crime rates than native-born U.S. citizens. par.nsf.gov/biblio/10205....

Economic costs of speeding:

NHTSA estimates that speeding-related crashes cost American society roughly $46 billion annually
January 10, 2026 at 3:19 AM
Speeding contributes to tens of thousands of severe injuries annually, leading to permanent disabilities.
January 10, 2026 at 2:52 AM
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), speeding is a contributing factor in roughly 29% of all traffic fatalities. In recent years, this amounts to approximately 12,000 deaths per year directly attributable to speeding: www.nhtsa.gov/risky-drivin....
