I find it fascinating that there is all of this focus by MAGA on illegal immigration. As if this is causing some great harm to our society. To be fair, there are some harms. There are also some benefits. So why all the focus on immigration? Why not other problems, like speeding? Let's take a look.

A lot of people these days seem to think that an advanced civilization is measured by how advanced their technology is. This is incorrect. The true measure is how well the members of that society treat one another.

I deleted my Facebook account a few years ago. I decided to go back and create a new account recently. It didn't go well.
I left much of social media years ago, due to the many fundamental, severe flaws I saw in the platforms. I don't think these flaws have been resolved, but I am willing to give it all another try. What I can control is how I personally interact with the platforms. We shall see how it goes!
