"add option to move or not move take envelope points when moving media item contents"

This is huge for sound design, where sometimes you want item envs to move with the content and sometimes you want them to stay put. Seen here with volume env, first with old behavior, then with new.

"add actions to remove unnecessary points"

Some editing workflows can lead to a lot of envelope points that are effectively doing nothing. A new custom action removes these points: "Envelope: Remove unnecessary points" Here I've made a button for it, but it's accessible in the actions list.

Previously razor editing only worked for item envelopes (shown first with volume envs). Now, it also works for item envs (shown second with item pan envs).

Something that helps me when I'm mixing complex ambiences is Reaper's mode where a track can become a 2-D canvas with resizable blocks. This allows for fades that would otherwise be impossible.

Right click a track in the track control panel and select "Free Item Positioning Mode" #ReaperDAW

This new feature for ripple editing on item edge in #reaperDAW 7.35 is pretty nice. I really wish it worked on the left edge too though.

Made a script for #reaperDAW that lets you select adjacent items. Helpful for me with #podcastediting, saving me from zooming in each time to grab a clump of clips. Sound on for my explanation.

Feel free to download, edit, and share.

Thanks Marco. I'd love to see your process as a screen recording if you're up for that.

Best solution I've found so far is with the item take envelope, drawing a rough razor edit around the breath, and then using a custom action to fade it down.

For interviews recorded in stereo (and other field tape) I find this #reaperDAW script helpful:
nofish_Normalize take pan (Loudness based).lua

It pans the item so that left and right are equally loud. It is a quick way to put off-center voices in the middle.

Pretty intrigued by this item-based granular synthesizer for #reaperdaw. I really like that you can control the position with an envelope.
