Someone posted this here a while ago that I thought was fitting. It’s what comes to my mind when someone says “hunting is a sport”.

My local Sprouts grocery store now has these items. I picked up the sesame ginger faux chicken and will plate that on top of some basmati rice with a side of steamed broccoli.

The view from my backyard down in the San Diego area. Budda relaxing beneath my new Japanese Black Pine tree that got put in a couple weeks ago.

I hear you. I can appreciate that it can be discomforting if a plant based food is too realistic. I’m also not looking for realism; just something that is savory and has some texture that is enjoyable. I haven’t seen this new item in any of the stores out by me yet. I’ll likely try it out.

Please do let us know. I usually always have some Just Eggs on hand (now called Eggs from Plants) and would be interested in this new product if it tastes reasonably good.

Two yes votes from my household, mailed and received.

We were there as well. A peaceful fun time overall on a warm sunny afternoon. Enjoyed seeing the folks in the shark and T. rex costumes. Eric Cartman even made an appearance.

If I saw that for sale I would definitely get one (or two) myself.

Great rally in Rancho Bernardo as well. Both sides of Bernardo Center Drive by Vons were filled for several blocks. My guess - around 4-5K peaceful protesters came out to enjoy a warm sunny afternoon in this corner of San Diego.

We had a great turnout along Bernardo Center Drive here in Rancho Bernardo earlier today. North County did a nice job of showing up today to exercise our First Amendment rights to peacefully protest against this corrupt administration. #NoKings

That is a very impressive milestone! Congratulations on proving we can all prosper on a plant-based diet as well as feel good about making choices that don’t involve supporting animal cruelty.

Probably not. But some cool evening exposure seems to be important for helping reset Phals to start the flowering process again.

I checked the wiki page on Sprouts and it did indicate it had some stores in NC, but didn’t mention where. It does have a bigger footprint out west however. I’ve seen Banza (I called it Bonza elsewhere) advertise on YT and some cable shows, so I would think it is distributed nationally.

The rally point on Bernardo Center Drive by Vons is close enough to walk to from my home. If that wasn’t available I would head downtown to the bigger event.

Bonza chickpea pasta comes in several different varieties and is very high in protein and fiber. It’s easy to find in my area at Sprouts or Vons grocery stores.

I’ll be at the rally out here in Rancho Bernardo.

Saved that image so I can print it out and stick it on my fridge. I made kidney beans in the Instant Pot yesterday and think I’ll have some for lunch.

I’m in SoCal as well (SD area). The only orchid I grow outside is a cymbidium. I might try growing some phalenopsis outside if you have been successful doing that. It did get down into the high 50’s F last night so I might need to wait until next summer.

That looks great and sends a very important message

Saving that image for some future messages😀

Today I made chickpea pasta shell salad with faux bacon, onions and peas from a YT recipe from Derek Sarno. Easy to make and great as prepped or served cold. Chickpea pasta has a good amount of protein and fiber and I would bet even non-vegans would enjoy it.
