I made self-indulgent purchases at Miniso today and accidentally found my historical twin. Her name is Jeanne and she was a comedy actress from 1800s Paris. She's a fellow theatre kid and we have the same birthday. She now hangs out on the packaging of my eyeshadow palette. She's pretty cool.

Coffee's health just took a bad turn and we got her to the emergency vet with minutes to spare so she could be comfortable.

Earlier today she was supervising me while I was working.

I will love you forever, baby girl.

The cat is stabilized on her new medicine routine, and after a week of hyperventilating at least I have the refund for my original flight and (frankly, nicer) seats confirmed on my plan B flight.

Now she's trying to help me pack 🥹

Took Coffee back to the vet today and refilled her medicine. Aside from the mass in her abdomen she is in good health, so they think we'll get a few more months with her.

She's a good, brave girl.

Coffee, my 14-year-old fur kid, started palliative care yesterday after an emergency vet visit.

She's on medicine now for her comfort which has her acting more like herself (she tried stealing my croissant this morning) but we're monitoring her to gauge her quality of life.

I love her so much.
