Sad to hear of film composer Lalo Schifrin’s death at age 93 today. I know he’s probably most known for the Mission: Impossible theme (iconic), but I’ve always had a soft spot for his Amityville Horror film score.

I thought Y2K by @coletteshade.bsky.social would be a fun, light read but it actually left me feeling sad and anxious and disappointed at how let down we’ve become. Instead of the utopia we imagined, we got this (gestures everywhere). Anyway, highly recommend, this was great.
