Also I've come to the conclusion that literally everyone I ever followed (or enjoyed seeing) on the former Twitter has migrated off the service; I'd say about 75% are primarily posting here and 25% are primarily on threads (and most are on both in some way). The replacement is entirely complete.

Recently reread the Beyond series, and it has held up *very* well. If post-apoc dystopian erotic romance sounds intriguing, buy this series while it’s on sale!
Okay, so it's not that I didn't notice I'd lost weight bc ofc I noticed, but I underestimated the impact. Putting on my scrubs, work shoes, & watch for the first time today and none of them fit & I mean, they look & feel ridiculous. My shoes? Bodies are so weird.

Casual moviegoing — when people show up to the theater on a whim and watch whatever is available — has been decreasing, particularly since the pandemic. Not only are there not enough movies bringing people in, but they’re often not in theaters long enough for people to discover them.
The casual moviegoer is a thing of the past. That's a big problem for Hollywood
Gone are the days where prospective moviegoers would roll up to the theaters and gawk at the board for their next watch. Theaters are trying to make up that business in other ways.
