1 in 21 children in London are living in temporary accommodation - a shocking legacy of the last government.

Wates and Rollalong have developed a modular home, built to high standards, that can be moved between vacant sites as TA. Today their demo model arrived at City Hall.

I attended the Youth Select Committee report launch on Youth Violence and Social Media. One key takeaway: social media companies must do more to make online spaces safer. Thanks to Wania Ahmad, Zafeera Karim and everyone from the committee for their work on this report.

Also think one of the happiest accidents in all fiction that she did get London’s terminuses (termini?) confused. The horror of the world’s tourists milling around between platforms nine and ten of Euston. 🥶

Genuinely I think one of the most inspired bits of station design has been to create a fake 9 3/4 to divert people so at least the crowds are controlled rather than looking around for a platform that is not there, both in the “it’s fictional” and the “author was thinking of another station” sense.
Man, did not, naively, expect Platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross to still be such a tourist trap given the crowds and the Japanese voices I heard walking past it
